Torryn Rodgers

Torryn advises companies in commercial litigation disputes and government investigations.

Torryn Rodgers’ practice regularly involves high-stakes, fast-paced litigation, from complex commercial disputes to election law claims across the country. She has represented a breadth of clients, including large-scale technology companies, real estate entities with nationwide property and leaseholds disputes, a media company embroiled in a First Amendment defamation lawsuit, and a large pharmaceutical company in complex federal multidistrict litigation and its parallel state court lawsuits. Torryn has also advised multinational corporations on compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other anti-bribery statutes.

While at Perkins Coie, Torryn spent nine months as a secondee to a major technology company’s general litigation group, where she managed a full docket of small cases across various U.S. jurisdictions.

Experienced in handling all aspects of civil litigation, Torryn has prepared and taken witnesses for fact and expert depositions, drafted dispositive motions, managed discovery disputes and productions, and negotiated settlements. She has also managed large teams of contract lawyers in document production and privilege reviews.

In her pro bono practice, Torryn has represented various clients in connection with veterans’ services, First Amendment claims, and applications for asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. Torryn previously worked with the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office and the Equal Justice Initiative and was a fellow with the CORO Center for Civic Leadership.
