Tara Shinall is an associate with the firm's Product Liability practice.
She has experience handling complex commercial litigation including those of business torts, trade secrets, noncomplete agreements, unfair competition, products liability, and alleged violations of state and federal privacy and consumer protection statutes.
Prior to joining Perkins Coie, Tara gained experience representing clients in jurisdictions all over the country in both state and federal court. At her previous firm, Tara spent several months on secondment to one of the firm's major clients.
Tara graduated with honors from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law where she served as senior editor of the Journal of International Law and Business. During law school, Tara served as a judicial extern for Judge Benita Y. Pearson of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Tara received her bachelor's degree in English literature from DePauw University.
