Seyoung Cheon is an associate in the firm's Intellectual Property practice.

With academic training in electrical engineering, Seyoung handles patent issues in various technical fields, including electronics, semiconductors, mobile technologies, software, computer hardware, telecommunications, and medical devices.
Before becoming a lawyer, Seyoung was a patent agent with the firm for over three years. She also practiced as a Korean patent attorney at Korean law firms in Seoul for over nine years. During her practice in Korea, Seyoung handled patent filing matters, litigated opposition and invalidation proceedings before the Korean Intellectual Property Office, assisted in patent infringement actions before Korean courts, and prepared patentability, infringement, and validity opinions.
