Seowoo Kim advises clients on intellectual property (IP), privacy, and general commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating data and model license agreements, IP license and assignment agreements, development agreements, and manufacturing and supply agreements.
Her clients range from startups to large public companies in a variety of industries, including hardware, software, e-commerce, Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence.
Seowoo also works with clients on product launches and reviews. Her product counseling experience includes drafting consumer-facing terms and privacy policies and advising on issues relating to open-source software, online contract formation, and privacy implications of products and services. Seowoo's guidance to clients is informed by her experience developing an aerospace industry product at 3M.
