Rebecca has extensive experience in restructuring and bankruptcy law, representing diverse clients in restructuring cases, asset sales, and Chapter 11 proceedings.
Rebecca J. Marston assists corporate clients in complex restructurings both in and out of court, debt financings, liquidations, Chapter 15 proceedings, and appellate matters. Rebecca has counseled clients across a variety of industries including healthcare, financial services, retail, energy, transportation, and construction.
Rebecca studied biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham before earning her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was a research assistant in the Bankruptcy department, and a symposium editor and article author for the Michigan Journal of Law Reform. In 2020, Rebecca was recognized as a Distinguished Law Student by the American Bankruptcy Institute, Midwest Regional Bankruptcy Seminar. Rebecca maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular interest in immigration cases. Rebecca has also served as a court-appointed guardian ad litem.
