Oliver G. Serafini
Oliver Serafini represents companies in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country.
He has been a part of teams that have secured dismissals, summary judgments, and victories at trial on behalf of the firm's clients.
Oliver has a diverse skill set, having drafted complaints, answers, removal pleadings, discovery requests and responses, evidentiary motions, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs. He also has experience preparing lay and expert witnesses for deposition and trial testimony, coordinating document productions and complex filings, and researching legal and factual issues.
Oliver is committed to using his legal skills to further the public interest. He maintains an active pro bono practice focused primarily on gun safety and civil rights litigation.
While attending Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, Oliver Serafini served as a judicial extern for Justice Mary L. Mikva of the Illinois Appellate Court. He was also managing editor of the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business. In 2020, Oliver received the Barnet & Scott Hodes Prize, which is awarded to the law student who writes the best paper on an aspect of the law of local government.
