Khadijah advises emerging companies and venture capital clients with equity and nonequity financings, public offerings, and tender offers.
Khadijah Owens also has broad experience with internal and external corporate governance matters, including formation and advisory oversight of subsidiary companies, state qualifications and business registrations, and employment and equity compensation guidance.
Khadijah has represented venture capital firms in investments in companies of varying stages of development and assisted clients on matters related to initial review of proposed financing terms and term sheet preparation, oral and document negotiation of financings, and secondary sales. She also has experience drafting and negotiating asset and stock purchase agreements, secured and unsecured financing transactions, and ancillary documents.
