Joseph works with individuals and families in Washington, Oregon, and California to achieve their estate and wealth preservation planning goals.
Joe Supple advises clients in the preparation of their estate planning documents. Specifically, he assists with drafting revocable living trusts for lifetime management of assets, pour-over wills, durable powers of attorney for assets, advanced healthcare directives, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) authorizations, and asset transfer documents, while also helping with trust administration and probate proceedings.
Joe also counsels clients on tax efficient transfers of family wealth through gifts and/or sales, including drafting and implementing intentionally defective grantor trusts (IDGTs), grantor retained annuity trusts (GRATs), irrevocable life insurance trusts (ILITs), and spousal lifetime access trusts (SLATs). In addition, he assists clients with charitable giving through creation and ongoing operation of private foundations and various charitable trusts.
