Javier is a seasoned multijurisdictional litigator with a focus on employment and business disputes.
Javier Garcia represents clients in a wide range of litigation matters, including cases involving race, age, disability, and gender discrimination, harassment and retaliation; wage-and-hour class actions; noncompete agreements; Sarbanes-Oxley whistleblower claims; and collective bargaining agreement disputes. Javier also represents companies in complex contractual disputes, as well as business torts, trade secrets, and unfair competition claims. Javier is licensed in Washington, California, and Hawaii, and routinely litigates in courts across the country.
Outside of his litigation practice, Javier counsels California, Washington, and Hawaii clients on employment issues involving employment policies and handbooks, employment contracts, and severance agreements. He keeps California clients compliant with the state’s highly regulated employment environment. Javier has also served as a trusted advisor to clients on labor matters subject to collective bargaining agreements, including labor arbitrations, unfair labor practices, strikes, and National Labor Relations Board administrative hearings and appeals.
