Elise is a versatile patent litigator with broad experience managing all aspects of a patent case, with particular interest and experience in damages.
Elise Edlin is an intellectual property litigator with more than a decade of experience managing complex patent litigation through trial in federal courts and the International Trade Commission. She has represented major technology companies in the fields of semiconductors, computer networking, voice and video conferencing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and wireless, including standardized technologies and standard essential patents. She is passionate about investigating and litigating damages, with success strategically limiting exposure and reducing liability.
Elise has achieved success for her clients at each juncture of the case, including wins on summary judgment, trial, and appeals. She has broad experience managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, partnering with experts on reports, preparing witnesses, and drafting motions.
Elise’s pro bono representations have included veterans’ appeals, asylum hearings, and civil rights litigation.
