Delaney Butler
Delaney Butler defends companies in privacy and security litigation on a range of matters, including requests for user information and content, government investigations, and cases involving free speech and online publishing.
His counseling practice focuses on advising companies on compliance with federal and state laws, including the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA), Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), as well as international privacy laws and regulations.
While earning his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School, Delaney also obtained a Master of Computer and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania. He uses his experience with technology to offer an enhanced perspective into issues of privacy and data security.
