Charlotte Kress counsels clients on a wide range of privacy, security, advertising, and e-commerce matters, including compliance obligations, responding to Federal Trade Commission (FTC) investigations, and internal policy analysis.
She has experience counseling a broad range of companies on a variety of privacy and consumer protection issues, such as development of privacy and security programs that comply with US and international laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Charlotte also drafts privacy policies, data processing agreements, terms of service, and consumer-facing disclosures. She also has prepared data breach responses and analyzed state data breach notification requirements, as well as provided product risk counseling according to European, Latin American, Canadian, U.S., and other international privacy regimes.
