Stefani Shanberg and Michael Wise Named Top IP Lawyers by Daily Journal
SAN FRANCISCO (May 22, 2024)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Intellectual Property (IP) partners Stefani Shanberg and Michael Wise have been recognized by the Daily Journal as 2024 Top Intellectual Property Lawyers in California. The annual list highlights leading lawyers whose work impacts the IP world or development of law.
Stefani Shanberg, based in the firm's San Francisco office, is a veteran patent litigator who represents technology companies in IP cases before federal district courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). Stefani is one of six lawyer representatives for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California for the 2024-26 term and is the only West coast-based past president of the ITC Trial Lawyers Association. She has been named a top IP lawyer by the Daily Journal every year since 2011 and has also placed on its Top Women Lawyers in California list multiple times.
Michael Wise, based in the firm's Los Angeles office, is the chair of Perkins Coie's Life Sciences & Healthcare sector and focuses his practice on patent litigation, patent portfolio management and complex contested patent matters in the life sciences industry. He has been named to the Daily Journal list numerous times.
