Katie O’Sullivan Receives 2024 APEX Award for Outstanding Pro Bono and Public Service Work
SEATTLE (May 30, 2024)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that partner Katie O'Sullivan, a veteran litigation and firm and community leader, is the recipient of a 2024 APEX Award from the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) for her "outstanding" pro bono and public service work.
The WSBA's APEX awards recognize exemplary lawyers, judges, and legal professionals across a range of matters. Katie's award recognition highlights her long commitment to pro bono work across varied legal areas, including civil and human rights, clemency and pardons, immigration and asylum, and criminal appeals.
As a pro bono leader, Katie also mentors and manages counsel and associates in their pro bono efforts. She has dedicated over 3,000 hours to over 100 pro bono matters during the course of her 25-plus-year career at Perkins Coie.
