Sara Serag
Sara Serag is an associate in the firm's Patent Litigation practice.
Sara earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she was actively involved in the Intellectual Property Student Organization. She was awarded Class 2023 Constitutional Law Award and the Dean's Achievement Academic Award. Sara is a pharmacist by training with a Ph.D. in molecular biology; she did her thesis at Bruce Spiegelman's lab, Harvard Medical School. Her research involves identifying treatments for stimulating brown fat metabolism for treating obesity.
Sara also holds a master's degree in biotechnology from UT-Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. She was a member of the academic faculty at the School of Pharmacy, UW Madison, teaching pharmacology and drugs of abuse in the PharmD and Masters of Psychoactive Pharmaceutical Investigation programs, respectively.
