Sara Cloon
Sara Cloon represents clients in environmental litigation arising under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Clean Water Act (CWA), and other federal and state environmental laws.
Her experience includes working with clients to manage contaminated site redevelopment and negotiating with federal and state agencies to resolve contamination issues. She is adept at navigating the evolving world of emerging contaminations, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
Prior to joining Perkins Coie, Sara was an associate at an environmental and energy law firm. She clerked for the Hon. Thomas O. Rice at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.
A graduate of Notre Dame Law School, Sara was an articles editor for the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics and Public Policy.
