For more than 25 years, Kirk has advised clients at the forefront of digital media, interactive entertainment, and sports on product development and market innovation.

Kirk Soderquist has extensive experience counseling technology clients in intellectual property and technology licensing; digital media; gaming; mobile (games, apps, advertising, payments, ad tech); entertainment; advertising; marketing, and promotions; product counseling; and mergers and acquisitions. Kirk concentrates his practice on emerging growth and established technology companies focused on innovative technologies in the gaming, entertainment, media, sports, software, social networking, retail, and advertising industries. He has substantial experience with product launch counseling for products and services including gaming and interactive entertainment products and services like PC and console games, game platforms, app marketplaces, mobile apps, and spacial computing devices and content. Kirk partners with clients through the entire lifespan of a product launch—from ideation to commercialization. Specifically, he advises on licensing technology and content, regulatory compliance, payment services, consumer-facing agreements, and policies.

 

Kirk Soderquist is head of the Digital Media & Entertainment, Gaming & Sports industry group at Perkins Coie and co-lead of the Interactive Entertainment, Immersive Technology, and Regulated Gaming verticals. Kirk serves as a board member of the Video Game Bar Association.
