Maysa T. Torabi
Maysa Torabi is a member of the firm's Corporate Law practice group.
She graduated from the UCLA School of Law, where she was a chief managing editor for the Women's Law Journal.
As a summer associate at Perkins Coie, Maysa worked on various matters related to startup company formations, early to late stage financings, venture debt and initial public offerings. While a research assistant at the UCLA School of Law, she conducted legal research and wrote memoranda on prison law and policy issues.
She served in the Office of the Counselor to the Chief Justice, U.S. Supreme Court, researching legal issues in foreign judicial systems and facilitating judicial briefings for foreign dignitaries. While an undergraduate, she worked in two law firms as well as at the Texas House of Representatives, where she analyzed policies on state criminal justice.
